Our goal was to bring emotion and edge back to a game that had gone sterile. “The Return” reintroduced adidas Golf through a cultural lens mixing 1970s editorial nostalgia with modern, style-driven energy. We cast a global, diverse crew that reflected golf’s new identity and shot at Pinehurst No. 2 to keep it real. With subtle nods to Tin Cup and Happy Gilmore, the work celebrated personality over precision. The response spoke volumes: 1.6M views, 90% new audience reach, sales 160% above forecast and a reminder that golf can have soul.
